August is the most wonderful time of the year.

One day in August, I was able to pick up Ellyse and a few of her friends from the family history activity days activity at the Family History Center in Ogden. We all went and took over to the tiny little historic Farr's Ice Cream to get a cold treat.   Allie is not quiet 8 years old but got to enjoy a treat with the other girls too.

Farr's was more than prepared for our large group and then some as the Ogden Temple Open House was happening at the same time. The Ogden temple open house turned Ogden into a very well dressed place to be. Woman, men, and even kids in dresses and ties on a Friday night? Yes, please! It was a very welcome change!

Then the best thing that happens ALL year happened!  The first day of school!!

And Jason and I celebrated 13 years of mawwige.
