Spring 2022

Buckle-up, it's a long one.Spring means Cheer tryouts. This year they were agonizing! They called her back 3 different times and the results came in about an hour after the time they said they would. We gave up waiting for the updates on IG so we hopped in the car and happened to get there at the exact time they were posted outsited the gym.  There's a video below.

We made it up to my parent's house at Easter this year. 

Most of the grandkids. We're missing Carson and Staley.

We were able to see Staley on Facetime.

Ellyse's prom was the same day we celebrated Easter so she got ready up there. We went to see them take pictures after we left.

Ellyse said that they had the best time. I'm so glad she got to go to a prom that was fun. She was robbed of a few dances due to Covid 19.

Allie turned 15! 

We met up with the Egan's at R&R BBQ for a minute before heading down to Sweet Rolled Taco's in SLC. 

We started singing happy birthday to her while we were there and a lot of people joined in 

We held a little family party for her and the birthday song we sang there was...dreadful. 

We love having Allie in our family. She brings fun, spunk, laughter, and fire and we love it all. We had Stake youth conference at Boondocks one Saturday and it was really fun. They paid for hundreds of kids to go hangout at Boondocks and get unlimited passes. It was really fun!

Mother's Day had us all over the place. We went to see my mom and poor Allie and Brynn had both hurt their

 right ankle. 

So grateful for my mom!

These two cuties wrote me a mother's day card. 

Tessa insisted on reading hers to me. 

Ellyse found this dress as we were looking for Senior Cotillion that she fell in love with but it was damaged and was super tight. We took pictures in it at least.

Seminary Graduation! I had a hard time not crying at this one. 

Graduation! Holy crap. It's true what they say about raising kids, it goes by like that.Just so proud of this girly!

We went to the Aquarium as a family to have an Asain Otter experience and we ended up with free tokens because of a mistake made booking it. Bonus! We got to do a lot more that we would have had we not been given the tokens. 

Memorial Day and most of Spring was cold and rainy. So grateful for the rain, not so much the cold.

Sweethearts Dance

A dear friend of mine shares a birthday with me. She teaches High Fitness and she's absolutely THE BEST instructor! We had so so much fun! Here's a group photo from that night. 

These guys came with me to the dance party. 

Our ward had an etiquette dinner with the yw and ym. Ellyse is in the photo below.

I think these were for Valentines Day. Jason and I have agreed that flowers can be a waste of money at times but there's something special about getting flowers on Valentines Day, amiright?

Jason surprised me by taking me to Sicilia Mia for my birthday dinner. It was such a cool experience. They are all Italian's and speak Italian. The bartender was singing, the wait staff was delighful and the tableside cheese wheel service was delicious, both in taste and in coolness.

We went to the art museum on U of U's campus and it was super cool!

Tiff bought me a really cool DIY miniature house to assemble for my birthday. While helping Ellyse create a room-in-a-box for her interior design class, a newfound love of this hobby emerged. It was so incredibly fulfilling to create tiny rooms. 

On my actual birthday, we went snowshoeing up by Snowbasin. It was difficult to find a place to trek at first but then we found a good place.
