Sweethearts Dance

A dear friend of mine shares a birthday with me. She teaches High Fitness and she's absolutely THE BEST instructor! We had so so much fun! Here's a group photo from that night. 

These guys came with me to the dance party. 

Our ward had an etiquette dinner with the yw and ym. Ellyse is in the photo below.

I think these were for Valentines Day. Jason and I have agreed that flowers can be a waste of money at times but there's something special about getting flowers on Valentines Day, amiright?

Jason surprised me by taking me to Sicilia Mia for my birthday dinner. It was such a cool experience. They are all Italian's and speak Italian. The bartender was singing, the wait staff was delighful and the tableside cheese wheel service was delicious, both in taste and in coolness.

We went to the art museum on U of U's campus and it was super cool!

Tiff bought me a really cool DIY miniature house to assemble for my birthday. While helping Ellyse create a room-in-a-box for her interior design class, a newfound love of this hobby emerged. It was so incredibly fulfilling to create tiny rooms. 

On my actual birthday, we went snowshoeing up by Snowbasin. It was difficult to find a place to trek at first but then we found a good place.

Allie's 14th Birthday 2021

Our Allie turned 14 this year. She had an entire weekend to celebrate. We hung out with the Egan side on Friday night, friends on Saturday, and more family on Sunday. Whew. We were glad when that weekend was over. We love our Allie in all the ways. She is smart, funny, whitty, talented and so so much more. 

 

February 2021

Covid made cheering at a game....very boring. No spectators other than those with tickets. Tickts were only given to parents of athletes. 

Watched the fireworks in our car across the street from the Asian Market in Roy to celebrate Chinese New Year. We went and got some nachos from Betos and shared it while watching. Life with Covid, you take what you can get.

Ellyse and Kobe tried out a Tik Tok recipe. Buffalo Mac and Cheese. It was nice to have Ellyse make dinner. 

Playing with puppy and experiencing 'Schitt's Creek.' Such a funny and cute show!

I wanted to go sledding for my birthday and so we found a spot up in my favorite place, Trapper's loop. It was so fun..until Allie got hurt. 

She decided to go down a bigger hill, the sled took a turn and she ran over a metal gate. X-rays showed nothing broken but this is what was left. Poor girl.
