Our Allie - 18 months

Allie,
Mom wanted to try writing to you about your favorite subject, you. Many wonder what they were like as a child and now may be this will open a page of your life that you may not have been able to open otherwise.

Allie, ever since the beginning (4 1/2 weeks early) you've been a fighter. You came out and held on tight, and pretty much haven't stopped since. Except to cuddle with your bit-tee (blanky), mommy, daddy, sissy, gma's, and gpa's, Kent, Jake, your Uncle Lance and Aunt Michelle, your Uncle and Aunt'ts dog- whose size out does yours by 3 times, any sort of blanky or soft cuddly thing that you come in contact with, including but not limited to, fresh clean laundry, mom's g's, gma's silky 70's outfit and basically anything that you can wrap your loving arms around. You LIKE to cuddle.

Al, you have one obsessive love of animals. You even let gpa's dog Sammy, lick your face and play with you like one of his toys. I only call it gpa Brent's dog because gma Diane won't claim that dog, even if her life depended on it. Every time you see an animal on the TV or in real life, you stop and shout and completely enjoy every single second you are in the presence of said animal. Boozer, Lance and Michelle's dog, knows you by name by now. You love gma Cheryl's cat Sophie, and would rather be outside alone with that cat than inside with us. Your family. Who love you. Very much. And you HATE to be alone! You can't stand it, ever. I'm wondering if that's why we're having sleeping issues with you, I wonder if you get lonely at night. I certainly hope that this love continues because it's just so darn cute.
You're facial expressions are a defining characteristic of your's Bubbas. That and your attitude. You know what you want and when you don't get it, you'd better never scuzz off your animals the way that you scuzz everyone else off because Allie, they'd run in fear, pure fear. However, I love that you know what you want and you make a fuss to get it too, even though I feel as if I need to hurl something rather large and heavy at a random object when you throw your little fusses. Little ha, ha.

Your love of books, trying to immitate any and all words that you possbily can, and your love to tag along with your sister and her friends are endearing. You love your sister sooooo much. Once you cried when daddy had to drop her off at a birthday party and you couldn't go. If sissy's not around, you ask me, with your hands up in the air "Sissy?" Your sissy was the first and only one that you would laugh at when you were younger, and anyone who knows your daddy, knows he's a pretty funny guy. Funny looking. :) I pray that this love continues throughout your lives because the love of sisters is stronger than many many other relationships!

Not that you can be summed up in just 3-4 paragraphs but that's all I'm going to say right now. Thank you for being you, Allie! You and all your funny little quirks make loving you irrisistible. You truely have been an AMAZING blessing in my life, as well as your daddy's, and of course, your sissy's too! Happy 18 months Allie-Bubbas! I love you with all my heart and then some.

Love, Mommy
