Halloween 2019

We found a killer deal on my dress a few months back and so that made the decision to be Morticia easy. When we showed up at our ward Halloween party, our neighbor's daughter was dressed as Wednesday. We had to document that moment.

A Serious Morticia Selfie.
On Monday evenings in October we gather around to watch 'Halloween Wars' together. We each pick a team that we think will win and then, at the end of each episode, one team gets eliminated.  We decided to conduct our own cake bake-off one Sunday.  We had a few friends and family vote. Here they are.  Top Left is Jason's, top right is the reigning champion's cake. That is Allie's cake.  Bottom left is my coffin cake and Bottom right is Ellyse's.

The Wood's participated in the Ogden City Zombie Crawl. If there had been a costume contest, they'd have won. They had a broken creepy doll and puppet master theme.

 Yard decor.

His theme was Sawin.  Apparently, it was how Halloween was started. You'll have to ask Jason for more info as I'm still unsure.

This year, our girls went trick or treating with the Egan's. They went around their neighborhood instead of around grandpa and grandma Wood's neighborhood.  They scored. I think we are holding them back. If they go with their cousins, they can run from house to house.

The big group, minus our girls and Diane. Diane tends to be the official photographer and stay-at-home Hallmark-Christmas-movie-watching person while we go trick or treating.

 The actual day.

Ken went all out this year at the office.  We decorated and he got a bunch of candy bars and invited guests to stop in for a treat.
