Boyd's Retirement Party

After 30 years in the life insurance business, my dad decided to retire. It was quite the party that the general office threw for my dad. It was an emotional day for a lot of people. There were so many people who came to support him and show their love for him. I was so proud of him. He kept having to stop his speech as people kept pouring into the conference room. There was standing room only. It was such a proud moment for all of us as his family to see the fruit of his labors come to fruition.

Stephen Richey recruited Boyd all those many years ago.  If anyone is familiar with the life insurance business, you know that it is not an easy business to succeed at.  He beat the odds and worked his rear end off and made quite the career for himself.  Stephen and Boyd learned quite a lot from each other through the years.

Jan Christensen and Boyd attended so many different conferences together.  It was cool to hear how they both learned so much from each other and became close friends.

The general office also had a luncheon for him.  It was such a neat thing to be a part of! So proud of you dad!
