Want a trailer?

My Parents are trying to sell their 5th wheel trailer over on KSL.com. I thought I'd help em out by posting it here as well. If you know anyone that may be interested, now would be a good time to let them know about it. Gracias!
Anyone who knows my parents, knows how well they take care of their stuff, so you know you're getting a well taken care of trailer.

Kudos Mr. Burton!!!

Okay. So. I've been bamboozled. I'm smitten. I remember not liking this version of Alice when I saw it as a kid. Like, not-ever-really-caring-if-i-see-it-again kind of not liking this version. but yet when I heard about this version, I was very curious. We were able to see it over the weekend and I'm so so glad we did! I LOVED it!! I may just be the only one who does but nonetheless, I'm smitten. Like, crazy-weird loved it. I suggest giving it a try. I think I may have found a favorite. I liked the queen of hearts the best. (She was the best queen EVER, as Ellyse would say. E's been using this sentence in mass quantities lately) The queen and I share a common bond. We both really really like black, red, and white a lot. Plus ahem, we like to boss people around a lot too.
p.s. I think a big part of it is Mr. Depp, I have a slight crush.

It even sparked a nod for me to actually read the book. Now, THAT'S saying a lot for this movie!

Another birthday gift.

So, the day after my birthday, my old friend (she's not old, but we're old friends) Annie, called and told me she has suite tickets for the Jazz game that night and wondered if she could take me for my birthday. Uh hello? Yes ma'am you can take me!! How sweet of her to think of me! Making the phone call to ask Jason to stay home with the kids all night whilest I partied hard at the Jazz game wasn't the easiest; but he, being the superhusband that he is, agreed and off we went. I really did feel bad leaving him behind! Honestly. Us girls, doing more chatting than basketball watching.
The suite.
We played the Hotlanta Hawks. The score here is tied but unfortunately they were a little too hot for the Jazz that night and went home with the win.

It was such a fun evening out. We talked pretty much all evening long and that was good enough but to add the game and suite, with dinner and ice cream provided, was the cherry on top. Thanks Ann! Super fun night out!!

The big 3.0.

J made me a 2 layer cake with raspberry filling. Impressive huh?!
Dinner after the temple at The Garden.
Anniversary Inn Room. J's trying to look smart. The bookcase opens up into the bathroom. Neato!
The bathroom. Painted with D.C. background.
One of the main reasons I LOVE this place. The big ol tub. I got a nice soak in this baby on my birthday morning with a quaint old book from the bookcase and I thought I was in heaven.
When we got home from the A.I. Jason had balloons and presents waiting for me. So sweet!
My family had a pizza party and this is the cake with ALL 30 candles. How many people does it take to light THAT many candles?

I had such a wonderful birthday. I really did. I basically partied all weekend long! Friday the 19th we met up with an old friend Allison Adams for dinner at Chili's and the girls were so well behaved. Total birthday gift from the universe! Saturday, my mom took me shopping all day long and how fun is that? That night J took me to the temple, dinner and Anniversary Inn. SWEET!! Sunday morning soak in the big ol tub, then breakfast at a fun little waffle house in Midvale and then that evening we went to my parents house for a fun party. Feel super spoiled!! What a great way to ring in my thirties! Wahoo!

Valentines day

Roses for mom.
Weird random things for dad.
Books and hair things for the girls.
A treasure hunt was had.
Kids were surprised.
Dad was surprised with a treasure hunt for coke bottles with love notes attached.

I decided that Valentines day on a Sunday was a marvelous thing.
