Merry Christas 08!

Such a fun time we had! We got a crazy amount of snow and played and played and opened gifts and ate and ate and ate. Allie and I were up at 6 AM on Christmas day. I think I've slept in once on Christmas and it was because we were all sick. I LOVE Christmas morning! I kept Allie away from the gifts for a while but she did sneak in and saw the chairs that Santa brougt. Then everyone FINALLY woke up and we made the mess that was Christmas morning. So fun! That morning we went to gma C' house for breakfast then back to our home and we got to stay home while the snow fell and the wind blew and blew. We stayed cozy in our new couches and enjoyed family over and playing games. That was so nice not to have to deal with the wind and snow! Thanks for coming to our house Wood's!

Other pictures in the pack of pictures include our bowling party and Santa's visit. Allie screamed her little head off when it was her turn to go see Santa. She DID NOT like Santa up close. E was pretty taken back as well. She ran to me when he arrived but did sit on his lap and was really good about it.

There are pictures of some of our family members too. Have a great new year tonight! Let's party!

3 Days Left!

Yay! 3 more days is all that's left before the big day. I don't know exactly why but I've been excited for Christmas for several months now and here we are only 3 days away. I've been diligent in keeping the advent calandar up to date and so have our girls. Every morning E reminds me that we have forgotten to eat our chocolate that day. So, we trudge in to the kitchen and pop open that days worth of cheap chocolate and more mornings than not, that's the first thing both my girls eat that day. :) It's all good right? Christmas comes only once a year.

I'm super excited with all the snow we're receiving in preparation for the Holiday but after it's over, then comes that dreaded snow that hopefully will last no longer than the end of February.

Our daughters are one of the main reasons I'm excited. Ellyse is asking for a Swim Doll. Jason asked for movies, most of all The Dark Knight, which has risen to a new height of fame in our household. I'm asking for a really nice toaster oven. Allie's has no main concerns but she sure knows what presents are. The other day when I decided to give her her new boots as an early present, I asked her "Allie, do you want to open a present?" At this point in time, I'd gone and got it and was holding it in my hand and she still ran all the way up the stairs, to the tree, and pointed to the presents under it. She still takes quite a bit of time opening the things so it's a good thing we've changed the schedule around a little bit on Christmas morning to allow for more present opening time.

I certainly hope that all of you have a wonderful couple of days celebrating with family and friends and I wish you health in this crazy time of year. Have a very Merry Christmas! Love, Julie

Happy Birthday to my Dad!

So, this season is kicking my rear end. I've been so busy plus, I got really sick there for a while thus, the reason I haven't been blogging for a while now. I'm pretty burned out.

Anywho, Happy birthday to my dad on the 16th! Yep, I know it's two days late but hey, better late than never right?

My dad has taught me soo many things in this life and the one thing that stands out the most is helping others. He's always helping others and sharing and doing things for other people to make their lives better. I hope that I can live so that I may serve others like my dad has taught me to do.

I love you dad! I hope your birthday was great!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

Okay, I know everyone SAYS they have the best mom around but they all lose. I win. I love my mom so much and am indebted to her for the rest of my life for all that she's done for me, all the support she's given me, the love she shows for me and the way she makes me and others feel so loved.

I love you mom. Happy birthday! I hope it's a wonderful day for you today!
