What's been happening...

So, it's been a while. I guess I should write about Thanksgiving and all that went on. We had a very fun long weekend over the break and we ran into some luck along the way as well. Thanksgiving was great we ate the big meal up to my p arents house and then chit chatted and then we headed down to play games with the Cowles family at the Brady's house which was a lot of fun by the way for all those who decided to ditch us. hu hum... anyway then Jason and Kent decided to stand outside all night long at Circuit City, because Best buy's line was already at least 150 deep by 8:30 that night. Circuit City's line was not nearly as long. So, I dropped him off in the freezing weather and then Kent met up with him later. They had a good time freezing their rear ends off but when it came down to brass tax, the people who were handing out the tickets for the laptops ( the whole reason for standing in line all night long) only had one ticket left for the certain type of laptop that Jason was in line for. Luckily, Kent wasn't in line for himself he was getting a couple of things for friends and family so he wasn't too disappointed but then luck threw us a bone and the guy found one more ticket for the much desired laptop. So, all night from 8:30 PM Thanksgiving night to 5 AM Black Friday morning, for the very last two laptops! Luck was on our side. So, now I get to sit in bed and type this stuff rather than in our basement with the heater on my feet. :) We went to the Jazz game Friday night and had a night without the girls. It was a fun game and lots of fun to be without the girls - thanks mom!- and we were finally able to sleep in Saturday morning because the girls stayed at my moms overnight. 10 AM thank-you-very-much! SOOO Nice!! We were sooo in need of that!! We put up our Christmas decorations and went to the Ogden Christmas Parade that day. Lots of fun things!! Overall, I think I gained about 2-3 lbs. from such a fun weekend. It's a good thing 4 day weekend's don't come around that often. Anyone else out there have luck on Black Friday?

Score!!!

Guess what?! Friday, while Jason was at work, his boss handed over some very sweet tickets to the Autoliv Jazz Suite at the Energy Solutions Arena for Saturday night's game. Tickets included seats in a suite, parking, dinner, snacks, drinks, and desert; all free! Holy Freak it was so nice! I felt so important :) hee, hee. We got there, slid into our free parking and made our way up to our suite. We had a buffet choice of BBQ ribs, roast beef, and or chicken with rice pilaf and veggies, rolls, and a salad. We ate as we watched the teams warm up and then were able to choose to sit up in the suite, or down in the actual stadium type seats that are like lower bowl seats to watch the game. The suite had it's own little bathroom too. We had a platter of candy brought in for our enjoyment with a bunch of sweet and salty candies inside plus popcorn on the side and then as if that wasn't enough, we got brownies and ice cream as well. Not to mention all the free drinks in the mini fridge. It was so fun! Mostly because I know all to well how uncomfortable those seats up in the nosebleed section can start to feel after the first two quarters. Man, if only we could get hooked up like that for all the games we chose to go too. What a fun way to spend an evening!! Now, THAT'S how to watch a Jazz game!! Oh yeah, and we spanked the Grizzlies 118 to 94. Go Jazz!

Halloween 2007! (Turn your speakers up!)

Yay! Halloween! Yay! Dead Man's Party! Wahoo!!

I know it's a little later than it could have been but ..Whatever.. Here they are! In the photo album, you'll see the following characters:

Ducky- Allie W. Princess - Brynnley B. Strawberry Shortcake-Ellyse W.

Pirate - Staley B. Goofy- Boston B. A Blind Ref - Carson B.

Bischoff's and Wood's got together last Sunday up to the Egan's house to dress up and play and take in Halloween fun. We ate and played some games and visited. Lot's of fun! Wednesday, we took the girls around and trick or treated around the neighborhood a little and then went down to the Wood's for dinner in a pumpkin and a little more trick or treating and the annual revealing of Brent's costume. This is a yearly event that we have all come to look very forward too. He's one creative man. This year he chose Hellboy, funny, I chose to be the Devil so, I got to push him around a little that night. Jason chose to be Elvis at work and the Crow that evening. Ellyse was Strawberry Shortcake and Allie was a little ducky. They both did outstanding! We also visited some very special friends along the way that night. We love to see them! Shout out to Burnett's, Tolman's, and the Sommer's! What a fun evening.

Our child watches WAY too much TV.

This morning I was talking to Ellyse as I was tickling her back, arms, hands, legs, etc. I started tickling her in church one day to keep her quiet and since then, as soon as we sit down together she expects me to tickle her. Anyway, she'd just woke up and had jumped into bed with me and I asked her if she'd had fun at grandma's house last night. Yep, she said. what'd you do? I asked. She paused for a second and then said.... Play, laugh, grow. (The musical theme for Playschool.)
